Job Description: B2B publisher seeks two persons that are able to analyze and write reviews/reports on business equipment products (color printers, photocopiers, commercial scanners, etc) that are used in the corporate environment.

Typically, your role would be:

Interview product marketing manager's within manufacturers of business equipment (Xerox, HP, Lexmark, Canon, Ricoh, etc; this can be done by phone or face-to-face
Obtain product specifications\manuals and extract required details to use in your review\report
Run some pre-determined performance tests on selected products
Compare\Analyze specification and performance results against similar products
Write a comprehensive, but condensed, review\report on each product (including specification tables, graphs and photos where required).
Some travel may be required (visiting manufacturers, trade events and product showrooms to interview marketing and product managers and to have 'hands on' time with the equipment you are writing about.

We seek a full time payroll employee that is not distracted by freelance projects for other publishers.

Ri10.com is based in Jacksonville, North Florida. The manufacturers you will be dealing with are spread across several states (New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, California, Kentucky, Idaho, Colorado, and Toronto). The Editor prefers Jacksonville based personnel but may consider applications from writers that can prove a track record of successful and productive telecommuting.

Services are scheduled for first publication \ launch in October 2008. The publication is fully funded and will be established and managed by a team of professionals who have over 20 years experience publishing in Ri10's target market. The management team successfully built and ran a similar publication which was recently sold to one of USA's major corporations. Training will be provided in relevant areas but applicants are expected to be self sufficient and technically competent.

The position is only open to individuals that are fully fluent in English and have full legal status to work in USA (Citizens or Green Card holders) - the employer will not apply for visas for employees.

Education: Degree or suitable vocational training\experience

Experience:

3+ years writing about electronic products, or

Trained Engineer, product marketing manager or equipment technician with writing experience

Hours: Full time 40 per week

Salary: $45,000 to $60,000 depending on experience
